Why are the Negative Emotions so Important for our Well-being?

Fear protects you from the dangers of the human life. And the Fear of the Failure can train you to focus on your work. Thus, I find the concept of Fear empowering. Of course, it makes me more quality-centric. Though the excessive anxiety is not a desirable state, it is inevitable if you are aware of your situation.

So, at least for me, the Fear designed by the Mother Nature, protects me in more ways than I could encode here.

Let's thank Fear, for keeping us Safe from Our Reckless Persona

I am afraid of failing to find the Important Files. Hence the extra time I spend for renaming my files, is dear to me. Sometimes, I use 'D.2021.02.17.F01' as the prefix for my Daily Journal files. But if it is a photo, I prefer using 'Photo-Place-Occasion-Date-People-Version' as the File Name syntax.

You remember your passwords. But you save them in your Browser. Maybe, you use a password manager. The reason is your fear of forgetting them, especially when you might need them the most.

See that? Even you are more careful about your life, all thanks to the fear. The Universe, the Mother Nature, Kami-sama or the Spiritual Supremos mentioned in every Religious and Cultural Heritage of yours, and of mine... They knew about the evils of existence. And they were so wise and kind, to provide us with the ability of Critical Thinking.

As long as you have a Good Sense of 'Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong', no one can fool you that easily.

Thank the Anger, for giving us a Strong Sense of Justice and the Power to Concentrate on Goals

We feel irritated because of the incorrect events. You like some ideas. And you believe in the goodness of the ideals. But the world is far from 'equal' or 'just.' Still, the world has some Kind People, who support the True, the Good and the Beautiful.

Also, these same people are not the type to just let the world burn. When they see the Lie, the Cruel and the Disgusting; they yell, struggle and work for a  better tomorrow.

I hate myself when I repeat my bad habits. Why? Well, if I were to declare myself to be 'perfectly fine' all the time; I would stop admitting my flaws. 'Fixing Myself' is a stupid concept, that much I accept. But let me assure you, 'Fixing My Routine' is a highly powerful idea.

You can guess where I am coming from.

This planet has some human beings, who cannot improve themselves unless they are absolutely strict or serious about their short-comings. Trying to treat their plan as a 'Play' or 'Game' is out of the question.

Therefore, they are not positive about their weaknesses. They keep a 'Self-Critique Journal'. And no, they are not grateful or positive about their ill health, weak body, brain injury or financial woes. Unless they develop a healthy bond with Anger, they know that they would be stuck in a self-gratifying sense, of the continuous present.

They have no time for the malls, the fashion or the gossips; because their Anger against the Idleness and Inactivity, has disciplined them to stay married, to the Gym, the Library and the Outcome-based Self-Improvement.

Thank the Solitude, for Expanding our Knowledge, Art and Physical Strength without any Distractions

By becoming alone in the terms of the Distractions, you secure a good chance of sharpening your Brain, Body and Bank Account. Since the third-party approval systems, such as the Crowd or the Closed-Ones, are not demanding your Attention; you have greatest virtue of not wasting your Attention.

Solitude forces me to discuss my future. The discussion-mate is also my own self.

Amid the quiet environment, I can build an entire universe. In this imaginary world, I can question my past actions and their results. This is an empowering experience. I can afford to look at every 'Fact' or 'Suggestion', as nothing more than the 'Personal Subjective Opinions.' You can try to picture, sitting alone in my chair, looking at one of the Journal Entries.

What might I be doing? I can zoom-out from that event. And by trying to look at the situation from Multiple Perspectives, I can extract Valuable Data or Insights from the incident.

"Was there a better way of handling that situation?" I have said to myself. And I have investigated my usage of the All-Time Top Three Assets. I have drilled myself to find where I wasted time. When you are alone, you can encounter more than one possible solution. Simply put, no other 'expert' or 'well-wisher' is providing you with some 'Ready-Made' solution.

Yes, while it's good to learn from the Experiences and Knowledge of others; sometimes, you are better off developing your own style or approach, to deal with a situation or an individual.

And the age-old tradition, of questioning the Second-hand Information you obtain from other Humans or Media, is one of the Greatest Self-defence Strategy. You have so much time to explore and study the various domains of knowledge. So, the solace shall enlighten you, and your potential shall blossom. Be it a Competition of Wits, Memory, Communication or Physical Endurance; you can prepare for it, by simply leading a Distraction-Free Routine.

Summary of the Importance of Negative Emotions

Did you create this Universe? Did you decide how the Laws of Physics should work? Can you control the Market Forces, Economy and Social Stability? Of course, none of us can do these activities. Taking a slightly different take on Gratitude; should we treat the Negative Emotions as if they were Not Valuable to us?

When my closed-ones die, I am reminded of my own limited lifespan. I know that you, I and the fellow Human-beings are aging. Also, not everyone is going to celebrate a 60th Birthday.

By 'being positive every day,' I might insult the Death. It does not matter, if something like Afterlife exists or not. Because in either way, our current identity vanishes. Once it's over, we will remain as Memories or On-paper Names. If we are unlucky enough, we become some Statues. And you know exactly what becomes of a Statue.

So, I want to think Negatively. Because everyone is trying to make me feel bad, just for pointing out the problems, in my life or in myself.

"Everything is going to be alright," I hear. The intentions behind such comments are not evil, we both might concur. Still, just believing these ideas is difficult for me. "Why is everything going to be okay? How is it destined to be fine?" If we don't take any action, will the problems disappear on their own? If there is smoke, there must a reason or Cause behind it. And if nothing else, at least we could analyse the possible causes.

If the major factor causing the incident can be identified; we can help the Automatic All-will-be-Okay process to speed up, by trying to influence the main cause of a situation.

I don't want to be happy with my current reality. While I am satisfied with some aspects of my life, I refuse to ignore my errors and the sad consequences. I have no desire to trust the complete strangers, just because they look cool or speak cleverly. I will like your Motivational Quote only if I can agree with it.

And I love my Angry Mood. I have made some bold changes in my life, because I was extremely disappointed or Angry about some things. I eliminated some Pointless Activities from my life, because I could not continue to 'feel positive' about my wasted time.

Fear reminds me to check my blog posts for any Grammatical Errors. Fear stops me from interacting with any Gamble-like Nonsensical Trend.
